We have now compensated everyone who had an active booster or the Voyager's Concord rank during the downtime. Thanks for your patience while we got everything sorted!
- UpdateUpdate
We have now restored every affected player's data - if you think you're still missing something, please send our support team a message at https://support.soulsteel.net.
We're now preparing to compensate everyone for the extended downtime. We plan to do this in two stages:
- First, we'll compensate everyone who was unable to play during the downtime. We hope to have this done by the end of the working day today (BST).
- After that, we'll look to compensate everyone who missed out on active boosters or Voyager's Concord rank time. This will take a bit longer due to the way that boosters and rank time interact with the Minecraft Marketplace, but we're working with Mojang to compensate everyone as soon as we can.
Thank you once again for your continued patience! - MonitoringMonitoring
We have confirmed with Mojang that they have rolled out a fix and are now working to get SoulSteel back up and running! It will reappear in the servers tab shortly.
We believe we have identified every affected player whose progression was affected and have a copy of their data to restore. However, restoring that data is a complicated process that takes a lot of time, so a small number of affected players will be temporarily unable to join SoulSteel while we work through everyone. We hope to restore access to everyone by the end of the working day tomorrow (BST). If you have any questions, or believe you are still missing data, please do not hesitate to contact our support team at https://support.soulsteel.net.
Thank you all once again for your patience and understanding while we've worked to get this resolved.
- UpdateUpdate
I'm pleased to report that we're making progress!
We believe that we've found the root cause of the issue, we're actively working with the Mojang services teams to get it fixed. We also think that we've identified every affected player and will be restoring any lost data right back to where it was.
Right now our main focus is on getting SoulSteel back up and running, but we also know that a lot of players had the Voyager's Concord rank or boosters active when we went down. Once we're open, we'll look at our options to compensate everyone for lost time.
Thanks for bearing with us while we get everything sorted - we really hate taking down SoulSteel for any longer than we absolutely have to, but we hope to be back soon! - UpdateUpdate
Thank you for your continued patience while we battle with this bug.
It's proving difficult to resolve, but the combined efforts of Mojang and The Dev team are working hard to bring it to heel and protect your progress.
We still don't have a timeline for when the server will be back online, but we are doing all we can to get it back to you.
Thank you again - UpdateUpdate
Just a quick update to say that we're still working on it! We don't have any new info to report just yet, but rest assured we'll post another update here as soon as we do.
- UpdateUpdate
We're continuing to work with Mojang to investigate and fix this issue. We really want to make sure that it's properly resolved, so it may still be some time before we bring SoulSteel back online - we'd hate for anyone to lose their hard-earned progress! Thank you for your continued patience - we hope to have another update later today.
- UpdateUpdate
We’re still working to get the issue fixed, and to make sure everyone’s progress is right back where it’s meant to be. It’s getting late here in the UK, so we’re calling it a day here, while our friends at Mojang are continuing to work on the issue. We hope to have another update soon!
- IdentifiedIdentified
We believe that we have found the cause of the issue, and are now working to fix it. We are also working with Mojang to restore any lost progression data, which may take some time. Thank you for your patience while we get everything sorted out!
- InvestigatingInvestigating
We are aware of issues with some players losing their progress when joining or moving between game servers. We are temporarily taking SoulSteel offline while we investigate to prevent any further issues.
